Early bird registrations are now officially open for Wild Gravel 2026, with organisers encouraging participants to secure their place across an expanded range of rides and runs.
Returning favourites and exciting new challenges will feature in 2026, with events catering to both first-time participants and experienced endurance athletes.
For those seeking a relaxed and inclusive experience, the 5km walk offers the perfect opportunity to enjoy the atmosphere and scenery at a comfortable pace.
Participants wanting more of a challenge can take on the 10km run or walk, while the popular half marathon returns with its unique gravel format featuring two laps of the 10km course. With regular pit stops, strong community support and rewarding elevation, organisers say participants truly earn the view. The full marathon also returns in 2026 with four laps of the course and can now be completed as a relay in pairs or teams of four, creating a fun new option for friends, workplaces and community groups.
New this year is the Untamed Trail Run, featuring rugged firebreaks, sand, rocks and bush tracks designed to challenge participants from start to finish. Runners can choose between an 11km out-and-back course or the full 21km loop returning to the event village.
Cyclists can once again choose from 10km, 30km, 65km, 100km and 150km ride options. The 100km and 150km events will continue to offer both sanctioned elite racing through AusCycling and non-competitive ride experiences.
Also launching in 2026 is the new Untamed 95km ride, featuring a demanding shortcut section designed to test riders in every way.
Organisers encourage participants to register early and begin planning their Wild Gravel experience.
