Wild Gravel simply would not happen without the incredible support of volunteers, and in 2026 we’re inviting the community to be part of something special. Whether you can spare a few hours or the whole weekend, volunteering is a fun and rewarding way to meet new people, be part of the event atmosphere and help showcase everything that makes the Great Southern so unique.

There are plenty of ways to get involved, from pit stop crews keeping riders and runners fuelled and motivated, to course marshals helping participants safely navigate the route. Grab a few mates and volunteer together at a pit stop, join the event village crew, help with registrations and pack collection, assist with set up and pack down, or capture the weekend as a community photographer or videographer.

No experience is needed for most roles, just a positive attitude and willingness to be part of the team. Volunteers are at the heart of Wild Gravel, and every role plays an important part in creating an unforgettable experience for participants and visitors alike.
